Jeanna
Jeanna has been with Recker Dental Care since February 2004. After graduating from DMACC as a dental assistant in 1998, she began her dental career as an assistant in oral surgery. After 6 years in Ames, she and her husband moved back to Oskaloosa where they still reside. They have 2 boys, Connor and Cole. Jeanna enjoys attending their activities, traveling and spending time with friends.
Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn has been a part of Recker Dental Care since November 2020. She is married to her husband Dylan. They live in Monroe with their dogs Alvey and Chief that they love to spend time with. In their free time they enjoy taking the dogs on walks, boating, traveling to new places and spending time with family and friends.
Abbi
Abbi has been at Recker Dental Care since 2008. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know her patients and seeing positive changes in their periodontal health over time. When she is not cleaning teeth, she can be found spending time with her son or trying to convince her husband they need more animals.
Bailey
Bailey has been a hygienist with Recker dental care since 2019. She is married to Jason, a farmer in Sully. Together they have two children Clay and Brielle. Bailey is originally from Newton and got her hygiene degree at Iowa Central Community College in 2012. Her passion is to help her patients by achieving an overall healthy mouth. She likes to get to know her patients on a personal level making them feel comfortable. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family on the farm.
Jana
Jana started with Recker Dental Care in 1995. She was the first dental hygienist to join the practice which only had three employees at the time. Jana enjoys getting to know her patients and developing relationships with them. She is grateful to be making a difference in their dental health.
Kim
Kim has been a hygienist at Recker Dental Care since 2004. She began working here right after graduating from DMACC. She is married to Brad, and he is a barber in Pella. Together they have 5 children: Kyli, Elah, Vyncent, Hudson and Addyson. Kim stays very busy with the kids’ schedules. When she has spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising and church activities.
Sija
Sija has been a part of Recker Dental Care since October 2024. Starting out her dental career as a dental assistant in 2021, her passion for dentistry has continued to grow along with her education. Sija is a busy mom of three and enjoys spending her time reading, writing, hiking, and doing yoga.
Tyler
Tyler joined the Recker Dental Care team in 2022. After receiving his Bachelor's degree from William Penn University, he went on to complete his training as a dental assistant and hygienist from Indian Hills Community College. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, biking, pickleball, and walking his dog, Bella. Tyler values the positive atmosphere of Recker Dental and the opportunity to establish relationships and build rapport with his patients.
Jennifer
Jennifer joined the Recker Dental Care team in June 2024. She lives in New Sharon with her husband and son. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is educating her patients on how to take care of their oral hygiene! When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys going on adventures with her family and friends.
Melanie
Melanie has been a Dental Hygienist since 2015 and has called Recker Dental Care home since March 2023. Melanie and her husband, Greg, met at Iowa State University and have since moved to Pella where Greg is an engineer at Vermeer. They have lived here for about ten years. They have a son, Graham and twin girls, Reese, and Rileigh as well as a great pyrenees named Harlowe. Melanie enjoys visiting family, speed puzzling, watching the WNBA and spending time outside whenever possible. Building relationships with her patients and being a positive part of their day is Melanie's favorite part of being a hygienist!
Deb
Deb has been a hygienist at Recker Dental Care since January 2004. She also has previous experience as a hygienist in a periodontal office. Deb lives in Newton with her husband Jim and their many animals.
Debbie
Debbie has been an assistant with Dr. Leigh since 2003. Debbie and her husband, Chris, live and farm in Reasnor. Together they have four children: Ellyse, Avery, Jaxson and Adalyn. When they aren’t busy following all their kids to their activities, they enjoy camping and spending time outdoors.
Kara
Kara has been an assistant at Recker Dental Care since 2016. She is currently Dr. Jeff’s assistant. Kara was married to her husband Dustin in 2021. Together they enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends and spending their summers drag racing in Eddyville.
Amy
Amy joined the team at Recker Dental Care in 2022. She is native to northwest Iowa. She received her dental assisting diploma from Western Iowa Tech in 2014 and has been assisting ever since. Amy also has her expanded functions certificate as a dental assistant. Amy is a single mom to her son Max. He keeps her busy with baseball and soccer. In her spare time, she is a “Maxanista” and savvy thrifter.
Makayla
Makayla has been an assistant for Dr. Eric since August 2024. She received her dental assisting diploma from Indian Hills Community College in 2024. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She also likes cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
